Helm's Deep Siege

Finally, after more than a month, my Helm's Deep fortress arrived.
The problem is that it looks that it was already stormed by the White Hand army of Saruman.
Take a look in to the damages it took during its travel from UK to France.

As promised, the Matriarchs based.
With that, all my Eden miniatures are based and ready to battle!

Basing the clowns

My friend Igor told me that the key to success in a blog is to always answer the comments. To thank him of that piece of knowledge, I also did what he told me and based my Joker's Gang miniatures from EDEN.
Here's the result, hope you like it.
(I sprayed the bases of the Matriarchs, so maybe tomorrow I'll do them).

Thunder, thunder, thundercats, OOOHHHHH!

Sorry, I think I got the wrong battlecry: I should said 'ALKEMYYYYYYYYY!'
That's right, I finaly got the guts to start to paint the Khaliman faction of my Alkemy collection. It was by chance: I was going to do the bases of my Eden collection (as instructed by my friend Igor), but as the bases were stained with white I had to use the black spray. As I was waiting the paint to dry, I wandered in my showcase and got this nice cat and thought 'Why not?'
I was a little intimidate to paint this faction, as normally I paint more 'human-looking' miniatures, but I can say that I have a great time (as I haven't got a long time) painting it.
For the color scheme, I took the leave of the great master Nico, who also uses a green and red pattern.

The Isengard Fortress

Miniatures models*: 118 (including palantir, ballista, battering ram, ladder and demolition charge);
Quantity owned: 232;
Special mention:
Ø                 Lurtz aiming with bow (the one not painted in the picture). Very hard to find, and never saw his blister.
Ø                 Metal Isengard Troll. Never saw his blister and hard to find.
Missing:
Ø                 Uruk-hai scout captain, with two-handed axe. Only saw that miniature in the ‘Two Towers Journeybook’, and I don’t know even if it was released;
